Christmas at Pre School December 2025

We always have so much fun at Christmas, the naughty elves arrived in each class, we decorated our classes, we ate a fantastic Christmas dinner and then had a party where Santa came to visit.

December 2025

We had the pleasure of welcoming Ada the tortoise to the Pre School for a whole week. We learnt all about how we should look after her including feeding her, washing her and how to safely hold her.

Her owner came in and helped us to bath her!

Remembrance Day 2025

The children and families joined the Remembrance Service held in Walton on the Naze. Together we marched through the town, holding our wreath with pride until we reached our final destination.

We stood waiting for our name to be called, in readiness to walk forward and lay our wreath around the Cenotaph.

We are so proud of the children, their behaviours were impeccable.

Harvest Festival 2025

Todays Pre School visit to All Saints Church for a Harvest Festival Service.

Thank you all for helping with donations of packets, tins and fresh vegetables. The children enjoyed sharing their donations, carrying them carefully into church and then sitting and joining in with their Harvest service .

The children were amazing, listening, joining in and being respectful of their surroundings around them.

The children made further donations to Walton and District Food Bank, sharing their collected donations from Harvest.

Thank you to the staff and parents for helping with today’s trip

Walton Beach Trip 2025

Today staff, children and families all joined together at Walton Beach. The children enjoyed exploring with their bucket and spades collecting many interesting items: shells, crab shells and even finding a wonderful Jellyfish!.

We stood in the water listening to the sounds of the small waves, allowing them to wash over our feet. Near the shoreline at the end of the sea groin we found a large rock pool filled with shells and seaweed. The children discussed what they could see, smell and through touch they described what they could feel. Children learned by using their senses.

We finished our beach day with a cold drink and a nice ice lolly.
